Contact Information

It is important for the school to be open and accessible to parents in order for effective communication to flourish. The school receives a high volume of communication throughout the working day, and beyond it, and in order to deal with any comments, questions or concerns that you may have we would ask all parents to bear the following in mind when contacting the school.

School Office

For most everyday queries the school office will be the usual first point of contact. This is staffed during school hours. The best way to contact the office is by telephone (01892 722929) and there is always a facility to leave a message should there not be anyone available to take your call. Please note that the busiest time for the office is between 8.45 and 9.45 each morning.

Alternatively you may e-mail the school office at office@bmprimary.org.uk and

Mrs Turner and Mrs Highgate will be very happy to help you.

Contacting teachers

Our teaching staff are always happy to discuss any issues concerning your children but it is important to note that during school hours this is not possible or practical. Parents should contact the school office to arrange an appointment after school hours.

Contacting the Special Educational Needs Leader (SEND)

Mrs Knowles is currently our Special Educational Needs Leader.  If you have a child with additional or special educational needs, please contact Mrs Knowles via the school office.

Contacting our Pastoral Care Team

Our pastoral care team are made up of the following individuals:
Mrs Knowles – Senior Leader and SENCO
Miss White – Assistant Head, Deputy Safeguarding Lead
Miss Mallon – Headteacher SEND Lead and Designated Safeguarding Lead

Please contact the school office if you would like to speak to any member of this team and they will arrange an appointment for you.

Contacting the Head of School

In regards to your child’s academic learning, well-being or safety the class teacher is often the best placed professional to help you with any query or concern. However, if there is an issue that you feel should be brought to the attention of the Head Teacher Miss J. Mallon, then please contact her either by making an appointment through the school office. The Head Teacher will endeavor to ensure a response reaches you within 48 hours during the working week, so if you have not received a response within this time-frame please do contact the school again.

Contacting the governors

The school governors can be contacted by post via the school office using the school’s address.  Our current Chair of Governors is Sir Robert Aikenhead who can be contacted via our clerk: clerk@brenchley.kent.sch.uk or by post via the school office/address.
