School Uniform

School Uniform

The school believes in fostering a feeling of inclusiveness and of a shared identity amongst the pupils, and one way to achieve this is through a compulsory school uniform. The uniform policy has been carefully designed to take into account the differing needs and abilities of the younger children in particular, the need for different clothing during the warmer summer months, and the importance of minimising costs to parents wherever possible. The uniform requirements are set out in the table below. Items marked with a star (*) are only available to buy new from the school supplier, Paul Marchant. Orders can be placed with the office, or Paul is at the school on the second Monday of every month.

Please also note that the PTA run a second-hand shop, details of which are posted on the school newsletter and on the PTA noticeboard.

Only simple studs and sleepers are acceptable; ‘drop’ styles are not.
  • Parents are asked to use their discretion regarding the use and provision of sun creams during the summer months, appropriate to the needs of individual children.
